Spicy peri peri tempeh cubes
Iceberg lettuce
Taco shells
Cheddar cheese
Onion
Lemon
Chopped deseeded tomato
Olive oil
Crushed pepper
Chopped corriander
Tomato ketchup
Chopped green chilli
Cumin powder
Black olives
Diced onion
Diced tomato
Recipe
Mix diced onion, diced tomato, Chilli, coriander, tomato ketchup, cumin powder, salt, crushed pepper, lemon juice and olives sliced in a bowl.
Sautee the peri peri tempeh cubes with some oil for 4-5 mins and keep aside.
To build the tacos, spread each taco shell with about 2 tablespoons of pan tossed peri peri Tempayy along the bottom of the crisp shell, add about 2 tablespoons of Tomato salsa on and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded Cheddar cheese. Top the cheese with shredded lettuce, a sprinkle of chopped tomato and onion. Serve garnished with black olives and coriander.
