For the Salsa

  • 50 g

  • 60 g

    Chopped deseeded tomato

  • 20 ml

    Olive oil

  • 2 g

    Crushed pepper

  • 5 g

    Chopped corriander

  • 40 g

    Tomato ketchup

  • 2 nos

    Chopped green chilli

  • 5 g

    Cumin powder

  • 10 nos

    Black olives

  • 10 g

    Diced onion

  • 10 g

    Diced tomato



  1. Mix diced onion, diced tomato, Chilli, coriander, tomato ketchup, cumin powder, salt, crushed pepper, lemon juice and olives sliced in a bowl.


  1. Sautee the peri peri tempeh cubes with some oil for 4-5 mins and keep aside.

  2. To build the tacos, spread each taco shell with about 2 tablespoons of pan tossed peri peri Tempayy along the bottom of the crisp shell, add about 2 tablespoons of Tomato salsa on and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded Cheddar cheese. Top the cheese with shredded lettuce, a sprinkle of chopped tomato and onion. Serve garnished with black olives and coriander.
