Natural Tempeh Cubes

 


Ingredients

  • 200g

    Natural Tempeh Cubes

  • 1 Tsp

    Jeera powder

  • 1 No

    Chopped onion

  • 1 Tbsp

    Chopped garlic

  • 3 Nos

    Chopped green chilli

  • 1/4 Cup

    Green peas

  • 1/2 Cup

    Chopped carrot

  • 2 Tbsp

    Oil

  • 1 Tsp

    Fennel seeds

  • 1 Tbsp

    Chilli powder

  • 1 Tsp

    Whole jeera

  • 1 Tbsp

    Corriander powder

  • 1 Nos

    Boiled, mashed potato

  • 1 Tbsp

    Chat Masala

  • 1 Tbsp

    Garam masala

  • 1 Tbsp

    Corriander leaves

  • 1 Tbsp

    Chopped corriander

  • 2 Tbsp

    Corn flour mix

  • 2 Cup

    Breadcrumbs

  • 50 ml

    Water

  • To taste

    Salt

Recipe

  1. Mince the natural Tempeh with a knife or crumble it with your hand. Sautee the minced tempeh with some oil for about 4 mins till it starts to brown and keep aside.

  2. Heat some oil in a fry pan. Add jeera seeds, onion, green chilli and fry till onions turn translucent.

  3. Add peas, carrot and grated Tempayy, cook them till they turn soft.

  4. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, chat masala and salt. Mix well.

  5. Add boiled and mashed potato with chopped coriander, mix well and keep aside to cool.

  6. Divide the mixture into 8 equal sizes, shape it into flat round patties.

  7. Make a corn flour slurry by mixing water and corn flour.

  8. Dip cutlets in the slurry and coat it with a layer of breadcrumbs.

  9. Deep/shallow fry in oil or air fry the cutlets.

  10. Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
