Tawa Masala Tempayy (Tempeh) Cutlets
Ingredients

Spiced Tawa Masala Tempeh Cubes

Jeera powder

20 g
Chopped onion

Chopped garlic

Chopped green chilli

Chopped beans

30 g
Chopped carrot

10 ml
Oil

Fennel seeds

Chilli powder

Whole jeera

Boiled, mashed potato

20 g
Fried channa powder

Garam masala
Recipe

Mince the Tawa masala Tempeh with a knife or crumble it with your hand. Sautee the minced tempeh with some oil for about 4 mins till it starts to brown and keep aside.

Heat some oil in a pan and sautee jeera, onion, garlic and cook till onion is transclucent.

Add chopped carrot, beans and mix it well. Add minced Tempayy, jeera powder, crushed fennel powder, chilli powder and cook for 5 mins.

Add boiled mashed potato and cook for 1-2 mins while stirring well.

Add fried Channa powder and mix well.

Lastly, add salt to taste and finish it with chopped coriander and leave it to cool.

Once cool, shape the mixture into a round shape like tikkis/cutlets.

Shallow fry the shaped mixture with some oil on both sides.
