Ingredients

  • 200 g

    Peppery Szechuan Chilli Tempeh Cubes

  • 10 g

    Chopped ginger

  • 15 g

    Chopped garlic

  • 25 g

    Chopped onion

  • 10 g

    Chopped green chilli

  • 30 ml

    Oil

  • 25 g

    Corn flour

  • 20 ml

    Soy sauce

  • 10 ml

    Vinegar

  • 50 ml

    Tomato ketchup

  • 50 ml

    Water

  • 10 g

    Black pepper

  • 10 g

    Salt

  • 10 g

    Spring onion

  • 15 g

    Corriander

  • 15 g

    Mint

  • 10 g

    Aromatic powder

Recipe

  1. Dust the Szechuan chilli Tempeh cubes with corn flour and deep fry in oil till golden brown. Keep aside. In a pan, heat oil and add ginger, garlic, onion, coriander, mint, and green chilli. Sautee it till onions turn translucent.

  2. Add mixture of tomato ketchup, vinegar, soya sauce and water, mix well and stir for a minute or two.

  3. Add seasoning (SALT/PEPPER/Aromatic Powder)

  4. After the sauce starts to boil add corn flour to thicken it to desired consistency.

  5. Add the fried Szechuan chilli Tempeh and stir well to coat, cook for 2 mins.

  6. Transfer into serving dish and garnish with chopped spring onion.
